Chip Resistance of Coating
Arizona Weathering has designed a "unique" Gravelometer. We built a cabinet with a larger footprint to finally accomodate larger parts as well as flat panel stock. This steel cabinet is complete with side entry openings. These openings allow for chip resistance to be performed on samples as large as automotive bumbers. No other Gravelometer has this capacity.
Cabinet:
Rigid steel construction with two side entry openings. The cabinet is complete with casters for easy maneuvering of the chamber when not in use. The removable top allows for easy
fixturing of samples. The interior is lined with a rubberized coating to minimize gravel destruction.
This cabinet is capable of having a rotating table installed for testing automotive springs.
